What do you call a camcorder that's part computer? Sony introduces the world's first Internet-ready digital camcorder. Your footage on memory stick can now be e-mailed or posed on the Internet straight from the camera without hooking up to an external computer. With DCR IP7BT you can send and receive pictures (JPEG), video clips (MPEG1) and text-based e-mails stored on the Memory Stick wherever you are: anytime, anywhere. A maximum of 50 names and addresses can be stored and up to 50 messages can be saved on Memory Stick (sold separately). Web sites can be browsed via the DCR-IP7BT 2.5" monitor. Leading-edge Bluetooth technology and the Sony Memory Stick afford you the flexibility. All of this in a camera that measures a mere 4" x 3" x 2", thanks to new MicroMV format. Less

Pros Loaded with features. Incredibly compact. Easy to use.
Cons Expensive. Jittery images. New MicroMV media not up to par with MiniDV.

Pros Super small, long battery life, "cool" factor.
Cons New (untested) format, MPEG2 only - not raw DV, pricey.
