AT&T Trimline 210 Corded Phone - Power out? Who ya gonna call?

byLisaDo May 13, 2006

Pros Desk or wall mountable, works when the power is out, hearing aid compatible.
Cons Even on high the ringer isn't very loud, short cords.
Recommended it? Yes

I hate corded phones. It seems that the cord, no matter how long, is always shorter than I need it to be. I end up trapped near the phone so I can't keep an eye on my sons, or anything else for that matter. Plus, it is constantly getting tangled around itself, tangled around anyone nearby, or... AT&T Trimline 210 Corded Phone - $11 goes a long way...

byTwix109 Aug 17, 2003
39 Helpfuls 40 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros simplistic phone, sounds great, blacklight
Cons nothing fancy (caller ID, answering machine)
Recommended it? Yes

My family and I used this phone before we had Caller ID. We didn't need an answering machine on this phone. This phone was used in a hallway by my room. This phone is great for people that don't need an answering machine or Caller ID. I bought it a few years ago at Target for $11.00.

OK Phone, Bad Speakerphone, Bad Service

bydfiel Jun 20, 2007
10 Helpfuls 11 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Handset works well, looks good, maybe I got a lemon
Cons Speakerphone not good, bad customer service
Recommended it? No

I installed a second line, so I needed a two-line speakerphone for my home office. At first, I hooked up the lines incorrectly, so when I hit the Line 2 button, it gave an "Error:Inhibited" message. After calling customer support, all they could tell me to do was reset the phone, which means... Read full review »

Good alternative to AT&T 4-line phone

bycawilde Aug 21, 2003
2 Helpfuls 3 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Easy to install, easy to use, very configurable, pleasant design.
Cons Receiver snags on hook, voice quality sometimes muffled.
Recommended it? Yes

The selection of 4-line corded phones is rapidly diminishing as wireless phones become more popular. Only the AT&T series and this series from GE seem to be widely available. We selected the GE series and have installed four of them. We like the styling, the larger number buttons are easy to use... Read full review »
