I installed a second line, so I needed a two-line speakerphone for my home office. At first, I hooked up the lines incorrectly, so when I hit the Line 2 button, it gave an "Error:Inhibited" message. Pros Easy to install, easy to use, very configurable, pleasant design.
Cons Receiver snags on hook, voice quality sometimes muffled.
Recommended it? Yes

The selection of 4-line corded phones is rapidly diminishing as wireless phones become more popular. Only the AT&T series and this series from GE seem to be widely available. Pros Terrific clarity, easy to set up, can be wall mounted, compact, attractive.
Cons Back-lit display a bit difficult to see, would have preferred white cord instead of black.
Recommended it? Yes

This AT&T combination cordless phone/answering system is certainly worth considering if you are looking for a new replacement phone.  It is compact so it does not take up a lot of room, and is very easy to set up and program. Both the phone itself and the answering machine have excellent sound...
