Pros No need to pay extra money for a top quality phone
Cons Problem if you don?t read the user manual guide!
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago, it's my third Uniden phone and yet, the best one so far. Some people will complain about static, just make sure the phone base is not near a microwave or fluorescent light. It's a 5.8GHz, therefore, very sensible from certain type of electronics' and appliances. ALL... Read full review »

Pros Looks good, nice features
Cons Extremely short range, will NOT sit correctly in its charger.
Recommended it? No

I had a 900mhz phone, and wanted the security and additional clarity and distance that 5.8mhz offered. This phone has nice features, looks good, and was priced right.

BUT....it only works in the house. Just like another reviewer said, you can not go out the door and use this phone. My old... Read full review »

I bought the phone, a Uniden EX15150 5.8GHZ Cordless Phone in a Christmas rush in New Orleans, 35 miles from here. I had liked another Uniden model which only lasted about two years before it gave out. When I first got it home that night I noticed that I didn't like it much at all, but it was too... Pros Price is good as well as features.
Cons No one can hear you or hard to be heard.
Recommended it? No

The older models seem to be better. This particular phone needs great improvement. Hard to hear or be heard. Same result when headset is used. No Mute feature. Channel changes don't improve reception or clarity. Also talk button is in the wrong place cause it caused one to disconnect call when face... Read full review »

Pros Looks better than it is
Cons I found the performance unacceptable

I checked out many of the available cordless handsets and settled on the Uniden EXI5160 - 5.8 Gigahertz because of their supposedly superior clarity and reception distance capability.....NOT SO !

This thing will only talk about 30 feet and has muffled outgoing static that sounds like... Read full review »

Pros Cheap price Caller ID display 10-number memory
Cons Caller ID display often does not work Poor connection and static Very hard to hear

I bought this phone having used a Uniden in the past with good success. I thought that I would be certain to get great results from this phone as well. Unfortunately, that was not the case. From the moment I started using this phone, it caused me trouble. I could not hear what the person on the... Read full review »
