People is a great magazine to read and get up-to-date information on the stars. It has great photos and great articles!
There has always been a People Magazine around for me to read. Right now I can read the magazine at work, we have a yearly subscription and get it renewed every year. I work at a law firm so basically these magazines are for the clients, but I occasionally will grab one and read it during my lunch hour. The law firm that I work for subscribes to many magazines, but People Magazine is every ones favorite so far. I am going to make this as brief as possible, but there is so much included in People Magazine and I want to mention it all!
Price~ Let?s talk about the price of this magazine. It really is not that bad. They are constantly running deals---like right now you can get a year subscription which is 52 issues for only $1.99 per issue.
Delivery Dates~ Depending on where you live is when you get the magazine. I usually get mine either on Fridays or on Saturdays. Sometimes the People Magazine gets delayed and off schedule due to holidays, but for the most part their issues come once a week on Fridays. They are pretty consistent with mailing them on time and letting you know when your subscription is about to run out.
What Is In This Magazine:
***Cover Story*** For the most part People Magazine has a pretty catching Cover Story every week. In fact they are so catchy that these are the articles that I normally read first and then the rest of the magazine. The past few Cover Stories have been: Prince Charming turns 18 which focuses on Prince William, America?s 100 Most Eligible Bachelors which features George Clooney on the front page, and Meg Ryan?s Shocking Split which features pictures and an article on Meg Ryan and her family as well as her new friend Russell Crowe.
***Mailbag*** This part of the magazine features the reader?s comments about certain articles in past People Magazines. I have found these comments very interesting. It is interesting to see different people?s perspectives on Celine Dion getting pregnant. You can mail in letters, faxes, and email to People Magazine.
***Star Tracks*** This section is usually five full pages of pictures of famous people being themselves. It is nice to look at these pictures to see what these Stars do for fun and plus you can catch some of the Stars with their children which are really cute pictures!
***Scoop*** This part is self-explanatory. It is basically letting you know what all is going on.
***Online*** This section focuses many things. It points out new web sites that have just been recently started that you can visit. It also brings up very good questions about the internet under Internet Manners such as ?Is it really rude to shoo other people out of the room when I check my e-mail? I like privacy.?
***Picks & Pans*** This sections mentions television shows, recent movies, new music, and new books that People Magazine has written an article on. It is basically trying to let you know more about the recent stuff and advertise shows, movies, books, and music.
***Insider*** This sections mentions what is going on with the Stars. If they received awards this is where it would be placed.
***Passages*** This section has topics like weddings, deaths, hospitalized, uncoupled, sidelined, recovering, farewell, births, foul play, pay day, expecting, recuperating, suing, and updates.
***Puzzler*** This is a crossword puzzle that normally is pretty easy to solve. If you can?t figure it out all you have to do it wait for next month?s issue because it gives you the answers.
***Style Watch*** This section reveals the newest trend and who is wearing it. such as bell sleeves and tie-necked tops.
***Chatter*** This section is basically gossip in my opinion about Stars.
***Miscellaneous Articles*** People Magazine always has a lot of interesting articles for all kinds of people. They normally have one article on Arts, and the rest of the articles are so diverse that I enjoy reading them all.
