Very strong but does not last long
This brand seems to be the best. I bought this shredder few months ago. I was very satisfied until it was dead. I found it quick, tough and very strong. It took many big jobs. Fellowes W 11 C Shredder
I purchased this shredder at Office Depot approximately 2-3 years ago. I can't say it has been the best shredder I have ever owned, but then again, it hasn't been the worst either.
It doesn't shred 10-11 sheets at a time as stated, and although it states that it is "confetti" cut, this one...

Plastic stepping gear teeth stripped where motor shaft mates with stepping gear.
The plastic stepping gear teeth receive the initial torque from the electric motor metal gear shaft and rotate other gears and the cutting blade assembly.. Frequent initial torque on the plastic gear over time has cause material fatigue. The plastic gear teeth have been stripped.
